yesterday it was pouring down all day so i thought i'd go have a bit of fun some tracks i'd found over summer

well the fun police had a very busy March. the two "road subject to flooding" both have drains run under them now and a road that used to be one big mud hole is now a nice neat graded and well drained road. if i didn't have to drive up on the edge to do a u-turn i wouldn't have even got the tyres dirty. and i was so pissed off i had to do a couple of them to make the trip worthwhile...

Total lunar eclipse the other night.

Once again Sydney gets 100% cloud cover & rain. That's the third time in a row!

Had a great beach trip the other week. During the week after the trip the bloody ESP / ABS lights come on, indicating normally that a wheel speed sensor has failed. Great.

Got under it to check all connectors and noticed some fishing line around the front uni, so cleaned that off and checked the back......

About 20 feet of fishing line very neatly and tightly wrapped around the diff right next to the wheel, including brake and ABS lines. Cut it all off, unplugged the wheel speed sensor to make sure the plug was not damaged, reconnected and checked brake lines - all ok. Started it back up and fault lights gone.

WOOHOO. No April fool for me!

However whilst trying to diagnose the problem I went to connect my ELM327 to my new phone and no go. Tried and tried and tried. Worked fine on all my old phones but could not get it to connect to my Android 4.2.2 Galaxy S5. Pulled out the laptop and worked no probs. Anyone know of a Torque like app for the PC?
