As snowing said, it's low beam - you can see the hot spots - high beam is just a flood of pure awesomeness to freak the hell out of anyone driving slowly in front of you late at night or turning into a roundabout without checking and me almost ending up t boning them (hello little miss p plater from last night... Thanks for the clarification, that changes my future choice's a bit then! I have long ago become content with the fact that low beam will generally suck for night driving but is necessary for safety (spend many hours driving through the night and you will develop a hatred of the new HID xenon SUV's 4WD's that run them). Has anyone got a good real world application/comparison of the high beams (including against a standard set of spotties)

And this is why 90% of trucks have jw speaker headlights now
because the low beam is not crap and they rarely use highbeam

I like jw speaker ones for the same reason. When I need high beam, it'll probably be the time when I better switch my spotties on as well.

I upgraded my JW Speaker evolution 1 to the new evolution 2. Very happy with the change. Awesome Day Time Running Light and low eam is muchly improved. High beam is better but realistically we all have lightbars or driving lights so I'm not too worried about that!
