Default Help with a wheel squeak

Hi Guys
I have had a squeak in my front right for months now, its been to the dealer 3 times for them to look at it under warranty but they reckon they can’t replicate the noise i even had them drive with me to listen & the service guy heard it. Upon picking it up the last time they said it was fine & had no squeak (f#ckwhits!)

I went out today & bought some jack stands & was able to replicate in the garage. i just needs some help diagnosing the issue ...
is it a warped disc? could it be a bearing issue? i have little to no knowledge in this are so any assistance would be great.
I have attached links to a couple of vids & There is also a line marked in the disk which seems to coincide with the squeak.. when the brakes are applied the squeak goes away.

Thanks in advance

I have exactly the same squeak that used to drive me nuts.. I diagnosed it as a warped disk from being hot and then doing a river crossing or similar.. I'm living with it until they need machining for new pads.. I just turn the radio up a little louder if it annoys me

Get a sheet of 180 wet & dry. give the disk a rub with it wet with water & remove the mark. Rub the disk all the way around on both sides if you can. it may get rid of the noise.

The mark on the disc is from where the pads have been sitting after the disc got hot then the vehicle was stopped. A light skim will fix it it but only temporarily bit a better brake pad will stop it form happening again.

I have exactly the same noise coming from the right rear...

Took to dealer, they couldn't replicate

Two brake shops - one said bearing, other said tyre out of round

To me this looks like warped rotor. I might have to take a similar video and see for myself.

I had one brake squeaking recently. Pulled the caliper & disc off, then gave the disc a scuff with a 240 or 360 then the same for the pads.

No more squeak.

With a mark like that in one place, though, yours may need more effort to completely fix it, as others have said above. Good luck, hope it is as easy as mine was to fix!
