With all due respect, somebody camping near me who felt the need to use all that stuff would shit me up the wall. Some of us go camping to get away from noise and bright lights...
Just sounds like jealousy to me......

Hardly even close to the noise people with kids make.......

Always find it funny when someone has a problem with the small amount of noise a decent generator makes, they are normally someone with kids and don't seem to be too concerned about the noise their kids are making and how that effects the others around them. Last thing I want on holidays is the sound or annoyance of someone else's kids....

I have never had someone complain but I constantly have people wanting to join us to watch the movie, I am normally happy to oblige them for one movie but after that and on subsequent days my response is not as inviting (not on holidays to entertain others).

Depends on what the situation is.
Sometimes I take a generator but more often than not, I leave it in the shed. Go solar.
Where as, the kids, I either take them or I don't go.
For me, the kids is what it's all about.
Now, if you want to complain about noise, what's everyone's opinion regarding those bloody noisy quad bikes and so forth.

Fortunately, here in Victoria generators are prohibited in almost all National and State Parks, and in many State Forest camping areas.

If only people took notice of rules...

How about goalzero generators? No fuel, no noise, solar recharging. Charge your iThings and not annoy the neighbours any more than necessary. Or go properly out bush, where the nearest neighbour is 100km away and make all the noise you want

Thanks for the feed back. As said by others camping is a holiday and making life easier is the reason I am looking into getting one. I went on a trip away with some mates a month back and we were camping on the Murray and a mate had one and we powered some fluoros of it and lit up the whole camp site it was great we played table tennis after dark while around a fire and could hardly hear the noise of the generator as the music and good times drowns that out. Thanks again

Also if you went to the beach and could take a jet ski why wouldn't you would make it more fun
