Have the same winch, I found the battery leads too short as well. I guess they're made for the typical vehicle with the battery in the front of the engine bay.

I picked up a 30cm battery lead from supercheap and bolted them together then sealed up the join. Worked perfectly.

Buy one of these leads with an isolation switch to replace your positive lead and use your original positive lead as your negative. Throw some black electrical tape or heat shrink over it to avoid confusion.

Fitted a cheepy Chinese brand head unit. This model is a direct plug and play, didn't even have to set the steering wheel controls or change the Jeep logo at the start.

It's Bluetooth, GPS, DVD, USB, SD card and reverse camera capable. I'm also going to buy a separate unit to make it DAB+ (if only we could receive digital radio in Newcastle).

The only issue I'm having is for some reason there is no sound using the GPS, and I had to buy an aerial adapter as it uses the old style plug.

Have you tried using torque and stuff like hema and maverick with it? That's what I was looking at as well

Default Lots of new things

Finally got my new wheels and tyres. 315 ATZ P3's. Fuel wheels and AEV rear bar. Thanks to Frank and Johno at ATV in Five Dock
And finally picked up my new Patriot X1. An amazing piece of kit. So well made and exactly what I need. Beautifully compact.
