Default Front Upper Control Arms

Hi,
I need to replace the Front Upper Control Arms and the Lower Ball Joints.

2005 Cherokee Extrem Sport 2.8lt CRD

Should I replace with the genuine Mopar replacement part.

Or is there an aftermarket replacement that is good or even better.

If so could you advise me of the brand and a supplier.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Is the KJ lifted or stock height? There are possible different solutions depending on your answer. In any event you can source the part from Morris 4x4 or IDParts both in the US but much cheaper than same parts sourced locally unless you go to a wrecker. I might have a set of front upper arms in my shed with only 20,000kms on them, let me check.

Recently in the same predicament with my WH Grand Cherokee. However bit the bullet and got a set of JBL UCA arms from Murchisons in Brisbane. Easily replaceable ball joints if need to in future and ultra strong. Not cheap.!!If not off roading etc Rockauto in US have variety of different ball joint makes, and quality.Moog are about the best. and greaseable.Around 7 days delivery time. Bear in mind with all options labour cost to R&R arms.Press out bushes .balljoints etc Also checkout the inner rubber bushes. so good secondhand pair may be an option.

I purchased 'moog' from the local bursons. One of the lower ball joint boots has split all ready. Only done a couple thousand klms.
