Default OBD2 fail message

Hi guys, Just after some info if possible, I put an OBD2 device on the WG 2.7L diesel and it came up with a fail in the Torque Pro program, the actuall message is :

Rich to Lean sensor threshhold voltage (contant)
TID:$01 CID:$02

So I take it that one of my O2 sensors is playing up, does anyone know which one it is and the part No., where to find it and approx. price to replace it?

As I am going interstate end of next week so I probably should replace it as I assume it will affect my fuel consumption plus cause other problems if I don't.

Thanks guys

Cheers

Ed.

You don't have an Oxygen sensor and Torque is not able to read codes correctly.

What you need to diagnose a WG CRD correctly is here:

Adrian is right Torque Pro and most other cheap diagnostics except the one he listed do not work on the 2.7. Even the gauge monitoring within torque is only very basic.

Try his program but if you were not actually having any issues before I wouldn't worry too much. Or are you chasing an issue.

x2. If it's something to affect the good running of the car it will show up as a MIL.

Thanks for the info guys, did some ringing around today and it appears that that not there isn't much knowledge/info on these Mode 6 error codes, but the general concensus is that unless it triggers an error message on the MIL there isn't much I can do, as there could be multiple reasons why that log message came up.

I tried that program Fester, but couldn't get it to work as my adapter is only a bluetooth device and the program couldn't detect the COM port it was on. Obviously there must be some problem as my fuel economy has gone down but finding out what it is, sounds like it will take some doing to track down the issue.

Cheers

Now we are sort of starting to get somewhere.

You will find much better help on this forum if you explain your situation correctly and in detail.

We could tell you not to waste your time with cheap diagnostic tools even with most mechanics. There was nothing cheap till that program popped up recently.

Never heard of this mode 6 reference where did you get that from.

Have you read the "everything 2.7" thread.

Have you tried the key cycle for codes. Can be issues arrising without MIL.

Have you done an injector leak back test.

Tell us the whole story.
