Sounds logical, but would you assume that the e rated tyre would be less prone to damage on a jk as it is of stronger construction.

The E rated tyre is to high for a JK but I enjoy the durability and peace of mind.

Yeah I suppose that a good reason. The tyres on my JK were from my previous vehicle. NAVARA STX 550. When i buy new ones for the JK, i will have to think about my choice a bit more i suppose

I bought mine from Taleb Tyres in Sydney and had a local mobile installer fit all 5 for $110 at my house.

Yes, that goes without saying, they are overall the best tyres I have ever run and im prepared to pay the extra and change more often to keep them on.

I don't think they are overly priced anyway, I paid $450 per tyre fitted, 295/75 18's.

I took a trip to Cobaw on the weekend, second rocky trip on the nittos and they got chewed to bits,
I never had this issue on the coopers, I'm also assuming I'll get a lot less K's on the nittos than I did from coopers.

They are a great looking and awesome performing tyre off-road, but a very soft compound.

What pressures were you running? I have the same tyres and havent experienced any chipping like you have.

Been running mine around 17psi last trip but think ill drop them even lower next time. Mine are 34's.

Cheers
