YES but better to be safe than sorry , the mark is deep , and I don't want to risk by shaving it alone , I am trying to find a standard set of front springs for the other wj (due to when I was in hospital my other TWO FRONT SETS WERE THROWN) and I really don't want to spend 181 odd on a new set, and BUGGER to the wreckers in Vic , with there dollar signs spinning in there eyes.

I had to do a lot of fooking around for the nuts to hold the pipe in place.
I fooked and fooked ,
found a pair ! and loaded them up in place and locked them down with some blue nut tight .
now it has come to night time im too fooked to fook around
life..... is just full of fooks

after doing some research on the heads I find out these heads can not be machined , so back to the HO heads where im going to have to get bearings placed into the cam
the other side is ok , but the cam caps and followers are screwed , the standard ones I have are beyond the .002 tolerance (there warped) the HO head to fix the cups for the cam is going to be a pain , surely they can build up and re tunnel them ?
