I've been thinking of buying a set as well. I've seen them on eBay for around $80 - $90 in different colours.

This is nice. I'm thinking of getting them as well.

Yup I saw some around that price but browsed around eBay a bit and came across these at a lower price. Unless you meant $80-90 AUD? Maybe I just got lucky. I've seen some silver knuckle duster design ones somewhere in the forum but they cost too much (more than $200 if I recall correctly). I'm trying to maintain a complete yellow-black theme for my build. Still gotta think of aesthetics for me [emoji4]

Separate question; wasn't sure if it should be a new thread but since it's related to my build thought I'd add it here. Has anyone built their own custom storage compartment for their JK? Spoke to some folks who reckon that buying a prebuilt set is not really worth the money for a set of drawers and a slider for the fridge. I'm not a very handy person at the moment but I figured this might be an interesting DIY project for me if it doesn't involve any modification to the Jeep body that I could potentially mess up badly. Thoughts?

i'm going to make my own drawers as well down the track.
It doesn't require any mods for your JK apart from removing carpet and tie down loops. The only tricky part is access to under floor compartment but then there are heaps of examples for you to look at already.

This video seems to have some good basics. Not based on a Wrangler but the concept seems pretty simple and looks lightweight. I'd have to configure it for a slide out portion for a fridge (maybe 40L). Will get a better idea of spacing and tie down points once I remove my back seats (mine is a 2 dr JK).

Let me know your thoughts on the video or if you have some different ideas.

Yep Aussie dollars.

I got lucky with my draws. I found a set on Gumtree that a guy was selling for a really good price. He owned a dog and got sick of taking them in and out every time he took the dog along.

The only problem is that they are just 5mm too tall for me to fit my fridge on top of them. Thankfully the fridge sits on top of my rear seats when I fold them down though.
