Default Willys Jeep Help

Hey, New to JEEPS and Looking to buy an old school beach cruiser jeep, need some advice on what to look for, this ones for sale but needs work still.

Main concern, he states a few things required to complete and the airbag suspension, is that something to avoid or go for?


The following information is provided.

1949 Willy's Jeep
80% Complete Project Car
Spent $49,300.00



Required To Complete Project:
Basic Wiring Of Spotlights
Exhaust System
Tailshaft

350 Chev 750 Holly Carb V8
Very straight Body
Finished In Satin Black
Lift Kit Installed
Aluminium Steering Column
Stainless Roll Over Bar With 6 Spotlights
24 Inch Chrome Sporza Wheels With New Tyres
Suspension Is On Airbags
Sports Seats In Black And Red With Sports Harness
Sports Steering Wheel
Auto Meter Gauges
4 Sub Woofers In Back With Hidden Amps
Ollie Fuel Pump
Air Horn (Either Side Of Car)
Neon Lights Under Car
Front Disk Brake Converters
LED Light Bar

Appreciate any help.

Also how to check if the car is legit as it has no rego.

That one has been for sale for quite some time. Besides looking horrendous appearance and high price, I'd be surprised if it could even be registered in Qld (max engine capacity for the CJ3B should be 4070cc and air bag suspension is a pretty grey area with engineers).

Besides the "Look", cost & questionsble modifications - I'd be really worried about the effect of running a chev350 to a SOA with only 3 leafs. Usless there is a ladder bar (illegal) its gonna suffer badly from axle wrap.
Also don't like the chassis appears unboxed.

For starters it is not 1949 Willys (based on the body); tub is not a CJ3A (Low hood), its a high hood which was the CJ3B (52 -6.

Wouldn't touch it.
