Nope, modified tyre carrier with extension for rear break light clearance.
This size tyre wouldn't fit otherwise.

Hey Dizzyh do you do any towing? Just wondering how much the bigger tyres effect it.

Only a really small luggage trailer

Don't really know its there. But, with the cruise control on it does tend to kick back too far uphill.

I see you have 295/70/17 on stock rims, did you have problems fitting them to the rims? I've been told by a few tyre shops up here in Brisbane that they won't fit.

I've got 35" muddies with stock gearing on my 2012 auto penstar and it drives great. speedo is slightly out which I will fix. My mate has the same setup but 6 speed manual in a 2014 unlimited and he needs to do the gearing. Auto's seem to take it a lot better than manuals.
