Default Engine pull down 2007 3.8

Hi guys

Got a jk that s gonna need the head looked at it

Lh bank has a strange air noise happening

I Ve done a few engines repairs, rebuilds in a few different toys I Ve had over the years , but this will b my first jeep

Anyone know if I ll need any jeep specific tools for the pull down

At a guess I'm up for head gasket, possibly a head

Anyone done one of these before

Thanks

My JK 07 3.8 has had the same noises. Before u pull things apart is there evidence of a head problem (eg water in oil). Make sure that the exhaust system is tight as at the header banks both sides. These r notorious for coming loose. If they r loose they will sound as if there is a n exhaust leak.Tighten these really tight and see if there is a difference. My JK always sounds asthmatic.
