Good looking combo, one mod you might consider is lengthening the draw bar. I've done this a couple of times and it helps out heaps. Just a single length of 125mm x 50mm, through to the first front cross member aids in stability and also gives you that added advatage of keeping the trailer that little bit further away from the vehicle. Makes for easier backing, safer incline and declines too. Keep updating with photos dude, pictures tell a thousand words,,,,,,,,,,,

Thanks for mentioning the draw bar lengthening BigFella.

I have been wondering if there would be any benifits to it. Glad you brought it up.

Do you mean extend it like in the sketch I just drew up on my tablet? The crappiest sketch in history Black lines being existing, blue lines being the extension 125 x 50 bar? Because that would be easy to do, and I'd extend it the same time as fitting a new offroad hitch set up. I think we maxed out the tow ball articulation a couple of times playing around

What would be a good length bar? The trailer is a total length (tip of ball hitch to tailgate) of 2900mm at the moment.

Edit* Possibly you mean to take the 125 x 50 extension bar to the next inward cross member under the trailer, not the front one?
