At the end of the day Galvo that is what it comes down to. Is what you are replacing it with substantially better. And the answer to that one is a rather resounding no really.
Some may be better in some areas and worse in others, but overall as a package the GC come up trumps.
And while its almost 5 years old it has only just ticked over 70,000km.
One development since my initial post, it has been cleared with the Minister for Finance and Home Affairs that in lieu of new truck, a camper would get a green light to make camping with kids easier.
I think this has all helped convince me, thanks all.
So I might just throw a catch can, winch and brake controller on it and keep on truckin.
This whole exercise had certainly lead to a lot of thought and a number pros and cons lists though. And half the fun of a new rig is researching what to get and how to build it up.
