Did the update and no noticeable changes to anything to be honest. Same song titles on MP3 as before, same screen info on FM and DAB, and none of the fixes listed were an issue for me to start with. Didn't fix the navigation issue either though I did not expect it to.

I will now add that after a long drive with no reception so playing MP3's, after the update one in 5 songs or so now has incorrect title showing... great.

Haven't tested mine properly but one thing the sat nav did do, as it has done occasionally before, is suddenly say something when not even in use. Doesn't do any harm but definately weird.

Ok that's a new one! I have written again to FCAA and will see what rediculous response I get this time. At least it's entertaining and only a minor issue.

Three months later and still no response from Jeep or the Dealer... over a year since first acknowledged as a known issue and still no resolve.

Yesterday after speaking with a Jeep service area they indicated an update to the maps is expected early next year, probably around February. Not sure if this will also include a Uconnect update.

I'm looking forward to this as it seems redundant to have to use other navigation systems whenever I go anywhere when I have one built in!

Had my 40K service done yesterday, $813 They said they fixed the State changing issue. They did fix it by rolling it back to the last known working version.

I said "That's not good enough, this is a $55,000 car and I expect it to be up to date with everything, otherwise replace the head unit.”

They said “If after the next update its not fixed they will apply for a new head unit”

It has to be a software based problem as by them rolling it back, it now works.

They also mentioned new maps very shortly.

They have also ordered rear axle actuator to stop the annoying whistle sound.
