The bend at the exit of the pump is only a concern if you use the V8 hose on the CRD.

Best version of the fix I've seen so far is using a banjo bolt and fitting welded to the hose.

Mine has been leaking for a couple of months now. I just keep topping it up when the pump starts to make noise but really do need to get it fixed soon.

these fittings can be pulled apart, o rings easy to get but cir clip may be harder

Do the O rings need to be a special material to withstand the corrosiveness of the power steering fluid?

I'd used viton rather than nitrile orings.

Contacted Pirtek in Elizabeth (Adelaide) regarding the hose leak, they had a number of Jeeps in with the same problem. They have asked me to come in next Saturday morning and they should be able to complete the job in 45 minutes.
