Yeah i tapped into passengers side headlight harness too for trigger wire, white/green and is one of the first few on the top of the connector.

Correct, had mine done recently.
Bowriver, You don't say What year WK2 ypu have, mines a MY14 with HID lights which means the lights are the same brightness for low & high beam. what happens is when you choose high or low a shutter moves over the globe.

The bulb is housed in a projector, which directs the bright light of the HID bulb to where the driver needs it. The projector includes a specially shaped lens at the front of the bulb and a reflector behind it. For applications that include high and low beams, the projector is fitted with an electrically-operated shutter that switches between the two modes. Finally, a shroud can be used to dress up the projector.

Yep, same with 2011.

I got caught out trying to find it as it does not line up the the globe. I the connector your looking for is th closest to the radiator with 6 wires.
