Default Sometimes life makes the lemonade for you :-)

Even though Id heard plenty of bad stories about 4wd Supa Centre I decided to give them a crack and ordered an LED light bar and wiring harness combo. The harness was in stock and arrived withing a few days no problems but I was told Id have to wait a few weeks for the light bar, which was fine as I was in no rush for it. So a few weeks pass and I receive the email saying it had been shipped and it also had a tracking number with it. I wait a few days and no light so I check the tracking, which tells me it was logged with Startrack a couple of days earlier but then everything else was empty. I waited another couple of days and still nothing so I started making some calls, first to Startrack who tell me it was never picked up and then to 4SC who tell me it was definitely picked up but Startrack didn't scan it in. Either way its not my fault and no one knows where the light is. Eventually 4SC give in and tell me they will just send me another one. This process takes another 2 weeks but finally after all the stuffing around my new light bar arrived yesterday so in the end happy days. Then guess what shows up this morning, the original light bar! Hahaha, WINNING!!! Haven't decided what to do with it yet but as we are just about to move back up to Townsville I think Ill just keep it as a spare as there's a pretty good chance someone will try to steal it.

Glad it worked out for you. I had something similar when the ISP charged me for shipping for a new modem (that was free on the plan I changed to) when it said free shipping. I called I asked why they charged me for it & the refunded it on the next bill, no problem. They also sent me a second modem with free shipping! As I didn't need or want another one, I called & told them & they sent out a return shipping label to send it back. Also at no charge. Took a couple of months in the end for the billing to even out, but it all got sorted eventually.

Burn Life's house down! With the lemons!

I too ordered from 4wd SC. A winch, after several phone calls and several emails it arrived six (6) weeks later! If they had just said it will take 6 weeks I would have at least not been checking emails every day and getting very frustrated. Communication is the name of the game to keep customers happy!!!
