Does anyone run 255/75r17 or know if theyll be ok? With offset rims I believe width is fine as lots running 265s but slightly bigger diameter I am hoping I can fit with pinchweld mod if need be.
Well I bought some cheap 255/75/17s off gumtree yesterday and I also bought some commander rims off a forum member today and had the tyres mounted on the rims at the tyre shop. Haven't put them on yet,will wait on getting my crdstu lift done.

How will this affect your overall gearing? You are going up not only width but from 65's to 75's, I would think quite a big jump. No doubt you are doing this for off-road, but are you going do much highway driving on them?
