As there were no replacement part available I originally got a LHD link for my CJ8 and had to machine it down with a new thread to suit RHD. Worked well.
I have the tooling needed to set up for heavy duty steering if you want to upgrade the current set up. It uses C20 truck tie rods.

changing the suspension & brakes as well so upgrading the steering sounds good, can/do you make these yourself, if so I'll buy a set off you or can you advise me what needs to be done to make up a set. The cj8 that I compared with it had the tube draglink with screw on tre each end. Do you think the tj power steering box would use the standard length etc cj6 steering components. Thanks.

Okay as soon as I get a shed back I can make up a set.
Or I can point you in the direction of someone who can do this.

well I ended up having 2 standard ones to choose from for this era cj6 one is shorter & the other longer than mine, while I was at it got one for standard cj7 & again didnt match their length although around half inch off in both cases. These are crown parts are they different to original or is the usa inch the same as ours (like gallons). Gotta make a start so bought them any way, at least we have something to work with.
