Cutting bonnet for snorkel

Mine had kittens when she walked out and saw me attacking the bonnet with a hole saw.

I'm hearing ya.

Thankfully I get home from work before my missus. That way I can hide all the boxes left by the couriers.

Except for my muddies. I had to send them to her work due to the security clearance needed at mine

If you want to do the same as I did then at Clark Rubber you need:

U Channel 1.5mm Black. Part No. 15571

It's $6.25 a meter, and a meter is heaps.

I also bought a can of white spray paint to tidy it up as it's a yellow/green colour inside the bonnet.

After cutting, I masked mine & did the cut edges with RustGuard gal primer & gloss black. (Since mine is black when it isn't muddy.)

Put some paint or "A" type grease on fresh cut to prevent rust, my JK already had the snorkel and it looked like they did it with an "axe"!! I'm a panel beater by trade so cleaned it up and it looks okay now....Wazza D, can I have a kitten?
