Rockauto.
Do research on what brand.
Well known that some are DOA , then you look else where thinking it's not no that.

Update.

No dice, finally got my crank angle sensor from the UK (weirdly the cheapest I could find), put her in and no start.

Engine light stays solid then after a while it will blink, not sure if there is a pattern just noticed it after trying to start it a few times.

It actually pulled a code through my reader PO335 (i think that's what it was). Which is the CAS, not sure if it pulled this from prior issues or with the new one.

Either way, no start condition still persists. I'll check for fuel better this weekend when I have time and light but I'm not confident getting her going. Once the codes are cleared in my scanner it still pulls an intermittent fault but doesn't log a code. My scanner has a green tick, amber light and red light. I "believe" amber is intermittent and doesn't throw a code or a single issue that doesn't relate to a code, red is more than one problem or a code. I "think".

Regardless, despite being untouched for a while now I'm at a loss and growing increasingly frustrated as I'm now $100 down or whatever for no result.

Any pointers on where to look next?

Any blokes local to Narangba, QLD in the know that are willing to help a fellow Jeep owner out or do a cashie?

I know you can test CA sensors, apparently they generate their own AC voltage I believe.

I'm a little special so would anyone know how to test? What setting do I put the multi-meter on and can I grab earth from body or does it have to be from a pin on the sensor?

I tried with the original one and got nothing but that's most likely because I was doing it wrong / it was broken so it didn't generate voltage. I tried DC and AC and various pins / body for earth and positive etc.
