The tray over the fridge is fitted via brackets by the canopy bolts.

The sliding floor gives access to the battery in the tool box.

The pull out table is handy.

Nice! How much did that setup cost you to build ?

Hi Rayd,

I couldn't tell you off hand what it cost me to build. Got the sliders from http://www.indrub.com.au & the 40x40x3mm steel angle & 10mm ply from Bunnings, laminex off cut from kitchen place.

I am just using a couple of plastic tubs beside the fridge at present, but will build a aluminium square hollow frame using the Qubelok corner joiners, cover in 3mm ply & carpet & make a couple of draws up to suit.

Rob

First post so bear with me. I've been messing about with ideas for a while and have finally decided to get cracking. I wanted:
Full functionality of the rear seats;
A usable fridge slide for my engel eclipse;
Dual Battery System;
Relocation of Sub to give more usable space;
Somewhere to cook;
Be somewhat modular so its quick and easy to pack and unpack;
Use of rear factory storage.

Mostly what I have made is from scrap we had lying around or available at bunings. The brackets at the front are temporary until i get some more flat bar to make decent ones.
Still undecided about whether to make draws rather than using tubs, I know they will be super convenient but I also haven't figured a way to still utilise the storage caddy with draws.

I'm finally happy with my rear set-up. I want to be able to use the entire cargo space when needed while being weight conscious too.
In floor battery + storage
Full heavy duty slide
Shelf - easily removable
Compressor mounted on stupid wheel arch area

My latest rear storage.
Got a cargo barrier in place, dual battery mounted on rear wheel arch and false floor that a fridge slide can be mounted to. The space underneath false floor is used to pack fold up camp table, gas stove and camp chairs and don't need to tie them down then.
