Strange, I must be lucky.
I've had mine for 7 yrs and it has never leaked?!
The only thing that pisses me off is when I open the door and I get a deluge of water in my lap.
Also, occasionally have a damp spot at the tailgate near the rear speaker box lid.
Not enough to bother me though, in fact the only reason I know of it is because a little rust formed on the tie down point.

My 2011 leaked when I first bought it because the seals were not looked after. However you wouldn't expect it to happen on a brand new vehicle.

I use a product Einszett Gummi Pflege Rubber Seal Conditioner once a month and everytime I wash the car, I wipe the door seals down. This has stopped any leaks I had.

Having said that, I was camping when ex cyclone Debbie hit the NSW coast (had the soft top on) and it did leak a bit. But then, a lot of rain hit in a short space of time so I wasn't surprised.

exactly, you would think by now surely they can stop the leaks. how does the grease/conditioner stop the leaks? create a proper seal?

When you touch your seals they should feel like a dog's nose.

Seal conditioner helps to create a proper seal by cleaning and making the rubber soft and supple.

My 2007 JKU has Freedom panel rubbers that are worse for wear...no leaks and mine started life as a softtop so the front lock above rear view mirror doesn't work and has an air rush noise at 110km.
I have the obligatory door pocket filling, knee saturating issue with the roof gutter ending 50mm too soon when I open the door in the rain, feel like lowering the back to standard height on rainy days...
I have one leak back left just inside the rear tailgate.
Must be a hit and miss issue with the JK's.
Keep annoying your dealer, squeeky wheel and all!

ill see what comes of the dealers second try and what jeep Australia plan to do with the situation. if all else fails ill try the home remedies after the dealers attempts, so they cant try say thats the reason its leaking. im also afraid that if they adjust the door hinges that the top coat of paint wont be there and will be showing bare primer undercoat, and what they would do to fix that situation!

ill keep everyone updated on the situation!
