Default 52" Light bars

G'day all, I want to get a 52"Light bar for my 2007 wrangler jku. I'm chasing the best and cheapest available that'll fit. I was looking at these but not sure if they'll fit as the bracket makes them larger? Please point me in the right direction and link me up. 😊

The brackets you can buy for these will accomodate both a 52" and 50" light bar on a JK. Just make sure you buy one that mounts from the ends of the light and not the bottom.

I have a 50" on mine and love it for on the beach at night as it lights up the area in front of the bumper. They are absolutely useless on the road though. Get yourself a set of LED spotties for that.

Just be aware with the cheap light bars that they usually throw light everywhere and this can cause a lot of reflections off your bonnet. From memory yours is red? so it shouldn't be too bad. Mines white so I ended up buying a blackout decal for the bonnet. I paid about $100 for it so no big deal.

Also be aware that a light bar across your windscreen will whistle when you are driving. Again, it's an easy fix, just buy some pinchweld or U seal from Clarke Rubber, buy 2 or 3 strips long enough to go along the first 3 cooling fins (from the bottom of the light) that will change the airflow enough to stop it.

A pic of mine

Thanks mate, your rig looks awesome with them on. Okay I'll go with these eBay ones then.

What you've got is exactly what I'm after. Any chance you could give me the links for where I can get the bar and brackets please mate?

This is the seller I bought the light bar from:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/50-inch-6...YAAOSwSlBYvn-l

The brackets were bought from a company that no longer exists (they exist but they started ripping off people so is now dead to the Jeep community) but a search in ebay will find what you need.

Other than that maybe look at Aussie companies like SBR, Murchison Products etc, but ebay would be the cheapest option.
