Default Most Kms on an XJ ?

curious who has the most kms on their XJ ?, someone has 430+ from another thread, and links to USA with 1m+

qualifications, what engine, trans, and major work on either (if known)

my mate reckons bores just need hone up, even after +300kms

(knew a country builder had +900km on '80s diesel Hilux, no major work on driveline)

320K

'95 XJ 4.0L Sport - no major mods, mainly stock.

The engine will go forever, but you need to make sure that the tranny gets serviced regularly [at this end of the mileage] or else it may be the single biggest reason why you may give up your XJ.

435,000 on my july built 1994 Limited

motor has only had the head off ( clutch fan died and it over heated)

has bolt-ons, extractors, late mode inlet, otherwise untouched

new trans this year, new axles brake to brake, for the 4.10 gears

I've always used synthetic oil, compression is 125- 135

generally 120 to 150 I'm lead to believe is the general range.

mine is a little tired but still runs well and gets reasonable economy

usually 500 k from a tank , filled when the low light comes on.

i would love to do a stroker, but I'm concerned that all the connectors, looms etc are super brittle and i hesitate to disturb them.
