Mine flows until full, then cuts off and no more will go in. No blowback.

Default Diesel fuel filler cap

I‘m based in Switzerland (but spent some month in oz few years ago), therefore the ad blue. But the filler cap should be the same.

I know it's overkill but I bought Dom's one off Jeepgarage forum.
I like it because it slides over the outside of the neck.
The ebay ones weren't available when I purchased it but I'm still happy that it's done it's job protecting from dust & soap suds from the car wash.
