wrangler or grand cherokee

I too have both vehicles.......and for a reason.

The Grand Cherokee diesel is an awesome comfortable tow vehicle, especially when tuned and tricked up. Never have I had such a more powerful, yet economical 4WD.

On the other hand, the JK Rubicon is the most capable off road vehicle I have ever owned, however it sucks the fuel down at double the rate of the Grand.

If you are looking at a vehicle to do both and only doing mild off roading, then the Grand is the one. There are a lot of after market accessories to make it a very capable off road machine.

The main reason I have both is that I tend to do hard core four wheel driving and didn't want to destroy the Grand.

thanks for the replies, I know the sensible choice is the grand, we took a test drive of both just recently I was surprised how quiet the wrangler was and smooth riding, compared to my xj anyway, nearly had the missus convinced until she got into the grand, dang it. can't have both unfortunately, probably should wait for the JL to come out.

I miss the soft top
I love the tuned diesel with 8 speed
