Default 2 stroke oil in crd with dpf

Hello Guys, I need some help with this topic.

I hope some of you guys might be able to help out here.

Should I be using TC-W3 in my CRD Commander which has got a DPF???

There is some much confusing info in so many different forums that it has confused the crap out of me.

I use 300:1 ratio.

Should we use it if we have DPF's????

Have any other CRD Commander owners had any experience??

Thank you in advance

Eddy

Historically there was evidence to support adding 2 stroke to diesel
This practice was proven to improve lubricity of the fuel
Engineers were able to show a marked reduction in pump & injector wear
With the advent of sulphur additives in diesel, lubricity improved beyond the 2 stroke additive
Australian fuel was traditionally rich in sulphur because big sky's small population
Euro 3 emission spec was introduced around turn of the century & drastically cut sulphur content
Each successive Euro spec has again lowered sulphur content
This has given rise to a resurgence in the 2 stroke additive theory

I have read two different studies on fuel lubricity, mainly because I was bored
but in both studies using Euro V compliant diesel,
2 stroke additives actually lowered fuel lubricity
big oil companies aren't stupid and there are other synthetic additives in diesel now

I don not understand the science underpinning all of these studies
Nor can I claim to grasp the chemical make up of these latest additives
But I can advise you that you are simply wasting your time and money adding 2 stroke if you are using Euro V or better compliant diesel

I too have read this in another forum & hence why I am confused & asking if anyone else here has had any experience with this.

Australian diesel has to meet very high standards, it is at the top end of world diesel standards.
