Question Odometer, Trip Meter and ABS rooted.

Hey, was working out of town recently and on the way back my ABS light came on. It’s happened before, usually I just turn the car off and back on and she’s good to go. Not this time. The same trip I noticed my odometer and trip meter had stopped working which really pisses me off. I’ve done a bit of searching online and people that have this problem also have their speedo go out but mines fine. I’ve had a look at the speed sensor on the rear diff but I can’t see any problems. OBDII scan has no codes. A couple days earlier my battery did go flat but surely that can’t cause it. Any ideas?

Cheers,

Shaun

UPDATE: Found what might be the problem? Front left wheel speed sensors looks like it’s been rubbing on something. Thoughts?

Wow! That's through to the copper core of the wire. I'd say that's the cause for sure.

Could it be rubbing on full lock?
Probably can just fix wires & build up with silicone.
