Default Looking for a pre-bled TJ master and slave clutch hydraulic system

Hi everyone,

My clutch pedal is sitting a little low / rattles a lot when going over bumps as there is vertical play. I can only live with the rattling for so long... I have narrowed this down to a loss of pressure in my clutch hydraulic system and want to replace the entire line.

Does anyone know if pre-bled systems from USA are compatible with RHD Jeeps?

See an example here from AMS Automotive - http://www.amsautomotive.com/AMS/Tem...KITID=PS0119-4

New clutch and slave isn't a hard job to bleed with 2 guys, first I've heard about pre bled ones, no idea if compatible, but postage would would be expensive more than likely

If the clutch is still working fine that is not your problem. The rattles are coming from worn bushes in the brake and clutch pedal box. Mine does the same thing. I am going to machine up some new ones out of Acetel bar. Grab the pedals and you will feel the movement in them. You can also tell by putting your foot up against the side of the pedal when it starts rattling. I really notice the rattles on rough roads and when out bush driving. Poor wheel balance can also have an effect on the rattling.

I would be interested in what pieces you make to replace the worn parts. I have a new plastic bushing that fits into the clutch pedal but I doubt this will fix it.

I had a look at mine yesterday and yes there is bit of clearance between the rod and master cylinder. But I also have sideways movement in the bushes. It is almost like it needs a return spring on the pedals. making an adjustable rod for the clutch pedal could also solve the problem but you must have some clearance between the end of the rod the master cylinder. I would hate for you to spend t money on the master slave combo and have it not solve the problem. weird system pre bleed setup, I have never come across this before, I guess it goes with the front axel seals on the inside of the diff housing, uniquely jeep. I will let you know how I go with the bushes.

I also refer to this post here on these forums from 2013 re: pre-bled systems bought from Amazon:

RHD vs LHD pre-bled master and slave assy's differ by the length and configuration of the hydraulic line connecting the two

there also seems to be minor differences between model years with provisions for bleeding, some seem to have a bleeder others don't from what I can make out

besides I thing the rattly problem you have is more to do with the pedal to rod connection
