Filters are as bad as opinions on brands of oil. I tend to purchase European brands as I have had a good run with them in various cars.
Ryco are now made in China, Bosch in Korea or India. Not saying that there is anything wrong with them.
Its a waste of money buying from a dealer. Often they purchase the cheapest they can & charge OEM prices for them.
Often you will find that the filters have several different applications & the price varies between the applications for exactly the same filter.
A bit of time spent searching on line when you have access to free wifi on a cold wet day is time well spent.

Any brand sold by places like Supercheap, Repco etc are fine.

Just don't buy from a Dealership. Nothing wrong with their filters, they just like to charge you for the privilege.

Western Filters are good, I have used Mann Hummel in my other Jeeps for many years they were once Made In Germany but if you look closely some are made in China, a brand name is usually good never from a dealer though.....

I agree. Dealer's filters are a really overpriced what I do since I need to change it every 4 months is I buy in bulk. Saved couple of dollars from https://www.jeepsareus.com/sku/68197769aa.html. What I also use is only Mopar since I feel like it last longer and I like spending just a little bit for quality.
