Default New to being a Jeep Wrangler owner

Hey everyone, female driver here dont hold that against me lol and a newbie to owning a jeep. Just a couple of blonde questions, previously I owned a impreza zippy and great to park I'm struggling a little bit with going to supermarket for groceries got caught by someone parking close behind me and couldn't get back door open to put groceries in ... I guess moving forward watch where I park also I normally reverse or drive straight through to parking spots, so now it's more likely I drive straight in no one behind me... oh well old habits are hard to die.
Secondly whilst I live driving it and especially on the highway, round town I feel every bump and rock n roll is that a normal feeling I just gotta suck up?
It is a 2 door and only my hubby, black lab and I so we will be taking the seats out, it is rather squishy to get in the back. Does anyone else take seats out ?
Apart from the above adjustments I love it

They are a little bit 'floatier' than your previous car, it's a Jeep thing, you'll get used to it, after an Impreza it would feel a lot different, less direct.
. It's a 2 minute job to take the rear seat out, lots of us on here do it, some permanently and mount drawers in the rear. Give the search function on here a try and you'll be able to find some great ideas to check out. Also I found Pinterest not too bad for getting some good ideas on stuff to do/fit.
Welcome to the Jeep family, now hold onto your $$ as they are fun and addictive to own and modify and the list of mods/ aftermarket gear available is endless.

Welcome to the fun!

Feeling all the bumps. Sorry, but the on road feel is always going to be harsher due to being set up for off road driving as well. Also the 2 live axles vs the full independent suspension on the Impreza. It can be changes with different springs & shocks, but will never be as smooth as a 'normal' car.

With the swing out tailgate, you do have to ensure you leave enough space behind to open it. At least you have the 2 door! I have the JKU, (and 3 kids), and leaving enough space at the back can be, problematic...

Before I had a family the back seat of my 2-doors always sat in my living room so I had more room for the dog and camping gear. Now with the 4 door I don't back into spots if I am going shopping, as much as I prefer to pull out than back out just to ensure I can get into the tailgate. If you go in pairs you can also just have someone stand out front of the shop and you pull around to load up.

You get used to Jeeps pretty quickly and then everything else will feel weird when you go for a drive and your spine doesn't register every bump.
