The pics in the top of the listing state DOT and have an e-mark, but the pictures in the description just show TOP marked on the lens. I believe that's probably a better representation of the actual product.
Any e-marked headlamp should have a kick up on the kerbside. An e-mark on a product also marked with a USA DOT mark suggests it's for a left hand drive/right hand traffic country anyway.
E approved lamps should have a indication on the lens indicating which side the kick up is on. Here's a pic of the bottom of one of my Trucklite LED headlamps on my TJ. The E13 mark means the lamps gained approval in Luxembourg. The arrow to the left of that indicates the kick up, showing that these are approved for use in countries with left hand traffic.

Good reply Jonny Jeep and well explained.
I noticed your LED's are Trucklites. They are not your run of the mill Ebay LED specials.
I had a quick search, and on this site, the Trucklites for the XJ, which are for Right Hand Drive XJ's and have all the approvals and correct directional beams etc cost a bomb. Almost $900 Australian.
Great lights, would work perfectly for our roads, legal etc.. but wow!! Pretty sure you could find them at a better price, but no wonder folk are going for the Ebay cheapies.
I will stick with my legal halogen headlights, but will upgrade the wiring so that they actually work brightly like they are supposed too. My LED light bar burns the road up when im on a country road and need to see far and wide.

To be honest the trucklites only seem put out about as much light as my previous halogens.
The difference is in the beam pattern. LEDs throw a hell of a lot of light forward, but don't illuminate to the sides as much.
At work there is a lane that normally has barriers across that I can't go down. Over the winter it often had the barriers open. The lane is unlit and there is a crossroad after the barrier where I was turning left. I couldn't see ANY of the road surface to the left to see where the potholes were as too much of the light is forward of the vehicle. I'm sure that my old headlamps would have been better for that slow tight left.
I had PIAA Extreme White bulbs about 18 years ago (in the OEM Hella lamp units), when one bulb failed the PIAA range had changed, and the next bulbs weren't as good, and after that the PIAA prices went through the roof.
I used a variety of different bulbs after that until Osram introduced the Night Breaker range. Every Time I had to replace them after the first set, I got whatever Night Breaker bulbs were brightest in the stock wattage. Each set was better than the last.
The last bulbs I had before switching to LED were Night Breaker Ultimate Plus IIRC. They were the best light output I've had since the first set of of PIAA bulbs I had. Reasonably priced too. Worth a look at if you can get them over there.

I have been Slack I got the harness two weeks ago and have not bothered to fit it I mean it's a 15 min easy job ... Having said that while I was off doing other things I decided it's not worth the effort putting in the eBay cheap LED Lights I don't need super doper low beam anyway and as DRL go Bummer for the time being I will just fit the harness , clean the lights and maybe get a bigger light bar
But at the moment I am preparing to put my first brew into Kegs ... No More Bottling

Haha, im the same. I got my harness last week, and i just can't be bothered with it at the moment. Its a low priority job. But, i have noticed how yellow my lights are. Once i get my wiggle on, i might give it a crack. Just got lots of other projects on at the moment. House, dirt bikes, gardens etc... no time to go back to work when all the Covid stuff is over!!
Cheers,

Back in the day when I was making the upgrade looms for the Xj's I found for my own vehicle that the OEM bulbs in aftermarket, modern looking lenses made a massive difference in the light output, the light was white and nice to drive with, the lamps were actually being overdriven due to the extra voltage available at the lamps......

One of the best things I’ve ever done to my TJ. Can’t comment on XJ wiring.

Hi Fishframe,
Noting your TON of research, can you provide a link to the site you got your LED replacements from
Thanks in Advance
