Thought I would hate the foot brake bit but don't even notice it now but if the thing breaks as much as my old WG's there will be some problems there for sure.......

When the cable broke for the second time I ordered another from Rockauto $45 plus $49 postage still saved $150 from the price quoted me by the dealer.....this time I went all over the hand piece and found that the swagged bit on the end of the cable was catching in its slot and thusly breaking the cable so a bit of a job with file sorted it out, no more breaks.

Same here. I couldn't believe that there are vehicles in this day and age that still have foot park brakes.

It doesn't take long before it becomes second nature anyway.

My first with it since my billy cart days, I thought it was a Yank thing which was gaining in popularity for some reason .......but then I have never had cars very much always 4x4's.
