Pretty easy, just unclip various facia & trim to tuck the relay away. Haven’t drilled the dash yet for the switch. Can’t go wrong as long as it’s fused. Tried to get a bigger resistor from Jay Car but no luck. A 30 amp would have been a good permanent fix.

Ended up getting the new everything but now have another prob, everything works (except the heater) but the fan is only putting out about a third of air as before. Fan is going 100mph but bugger all air, it was throwing out heaps before.
I did the check it says in Haynes manual for dual zone system and got back the numbers 52, 54, and 56. Which is basically saying that left and right temperature door travel is too large and 52 being Al (recirc) door travel range too large.
I don't know if this is causing the probs with airflow or not but anyone know how to fix it please.
Thanks
p.s definitely getting to know my around this car lol.

I expect you have a broken recirc door. You can check and remove the pieces if you remove the blower fan.

It turns out that the new wiring that came with the kit was the prob, specifically the ones between resistor and fan. Thanks to the American forum which put me onto it as being the two wires on either plug needed to be changed around. As it was it was causing the fan to blow backwards.
Apparently it's a common prob in the State's with the new resistor kits and wiring looms, it's back to blowing 100mph again. Now all I have to do before winter is sort out the error codes of 52, 54 and 56.
