I,m going to ask a stupid question, it relates to the Auto Park feature.

If the engine were to happen to stall at speed due to the Reluctor plate disintegrating does the vehicle just coast to a stop and at what point does the Auto Park feature activate as Ive noticed when I,m in the driveway at home it remains in gear but the moment I open the door and take my foot off the brake it automatically engages park, I just want to know what to expect if the engine shuts down and I,m hammering down the highway at speed.

As the hostess said to the Bishop " Don't open the bloody door until the vehicle comes to a complete stop" , thank you for cruising White Knuckle Road Lines........

I forget when I moving it in the shed and wonder what the hell happened as I open the door so I don't run over the lawn mower or something.

As for on road shut down, you have to push harder on the brake and steering goes to Armstrong so both hands, as it gets slower steering gets heavier so aim for your landing zone early.......

So what your saying Drover is; as long as the door remains closed, theres no chance of it throwing itself in Park and performing a 4 wheel Lock up at 80kph. I read in the hand book that the Auto Park feature is disabled when in Low Range

I read somewhere that there is a speed limit to the auto park feature so you won't have the scenario of locking it up at more than walking pace anyway.

There's also a speed limit. Won't put itself in park above 3 or 4 kph. If you want to reverse with your head out the door you just need to keep a foot on the brake just enough to bring the brake lights on.

While I hadn't tested it I assumed a speed limit would have been incorporated, just in case you wanted to exit the vehicle at speed, you know Zombie in back seat scenario....lol,lol.

Yeah thats what Ive sussed out when backing in the garage, touch the brake pedal so the stop lights are on, no probs.
