Default 2013 Sway Bar Bushings

I have a knock in the front end of my WK2, it was at Jeep for a recall last week, so I had them take a look, they told me that the sway bar bushing was shot and in order to fix it, I need to replace the entire sway bar, can you legends please confirm if this is typical stealership bullshit, or if I actually have to replace the whole sway bar, just to sort a bush out?

Cheers,

Dealership will most likely only sell the moulded bushing/swaybar combination. Other non OEM busings appear to be available but you will have to remove old molded on bushings from the sway bar by the look of it.

Rubber bush on bar would be pretty generic and more likely what needs replacing but it will be very obvious if they are stuffed, a few cracks means nothing, just measure the rubber block and check out whats in the rack at Repco/Supercheap etc, if its the End links they come in left and right and utilize ball joint ends so be a full link replacement....68069655AC and 68069654AC .....
I would have a good look and if required check out a steering shop for the part, genuine is looking at near AU$100 in the US so imagine what they would want here, there are aftermarket brands..

The link in the above post is very good.
