I was lucky enough to have the use of a hoist.

So Suspension was set to standard height.

I'll keep that in mind for next time thou.

Should be easy to change oil every 50,000 or less KM now.

Cheers

Robbo

I had mine lifted level when I drilled the holes, it was when I was underneath just making having a lookie at everything, checking bolts on the pan and elsewhere where still tight, I had only ran the front up on ramps and discovered the holes not quite inline, just gravity pulling on the engine/tranny but gave me a scare at first... Always have the rig level and lifted up about 200mm when I service stuff............ Im in envy that you have a hoist to use @Robbo1

So I ended up getting the deep pan from the first link I posted from MJ products. I have to give a big plug to him as I received my pan with a broken magnet. Messaged him and he has express posted to me straight away. Champ.

Now for the fun of replacing it. Doesn't look too bad. Had a look while doing my transfer case and diffs the other day. Also those Nulon squeeze pack are epic for doing the diff and transfer case. Made it so easy and no spillage at all.

Bringing up an old thread but the time's come to change the pan in mine. Does the one from MJ Products come with a gasket?

Yep and new bolts. Just had this done today because I am sick of lying on my back. Completed at 84k km and mechanic said oil was in good nick and barely any crap on magnets.

My coolant was shite though so flushed that on weekend for first time also since new.

Agree with GCDingo, well package, bolts and gasket, though you could use the old one anyway............. my oil was looking good, just a bit of scum around the place...would have more than I like at 100K though.
