Do you have the part number or description for that? I take it no welding required, just a press fit?

Looks like I do have the part number after all...
Chrysler P/N 52088914AA
Not cheap at a minimum of AU$76 each.

But they do say "QUICK DISCONNECT", so maybe there is a disconnect tool or technique available?
The O-ring is listed in the IPL as P/N 05019705AA

Cheers Muzza, I'm due to replace mine too but struggled to find the part #. What APP or website is that you used to search for the part numbers (for the steering connection) or did you just google etc. As you know finding CRD specific parts can be challenging as sometimes it will list 4.0 OR 4.7 petrol varieties and they aren't interchangeable etc. Cheers

Look in the "Everything CRD" thread for the factory service manual link. It includes a parts list.

Is this problem just with the crd or also with the 4.7?
Only ask this as I'm having a problem with my power steering not working properly. As in parking at shopping centre c/parks it doesn't seem to work until it gets a few revs up which is a no brainer reversing out of a tight shopping centre carpark lol.
Once it's got revs up or warmed up for that matter everything's fine.
Sorry for the hi-jack

I have 2 steering pumps taken out from my V8 doner and the one I used to drive till recently. If you like I can send it to you. I have no use for them anymore. You would only need to pay the sending cost... Or if you live in SE Queensland you can come to pick them up.
