Got the bearings off. Was not even that complicated and I did not have to destroy the bearing entirely but just take the cage off.
I realised that the beareing had a lip on top as well so i was able to put my bearing puller on it and got it out. And on the other side I was able to use my shop press.
And the screws from my V8 which had the 4.56 gear ring on fit on to the JK gear ring.
However, I would need to drill a wider hole in the carriier to get the wider screws in so I decided to reuse the one which had the 4.56 on it which saves me some time. I will inspect the spider gears from both and see if I would need to flip them.
I also had some casualties along he way. The cheap ebay bearing puller gave up after a while. The stud and the T part cold not withhold the force and the treads just stripped. I will rebuild the treads on the T part and get a new stud made of harder steal than the soft cheap steal which came with the set.
