Default How to run 3 fridges ?

Heading off to the Kimberely coast next month with caravan and boat for 6 weeks,(the timber brace on the tow ball is temporary)
Have done it a few times but this time I want to bring back as much fish as i can
My setup is offroad caravan with 1000 watts solar with 450 amps lithium, has 4000/8000 watt inverter which runs split system A/C ,air fryer and thermomix and Hair dryer, coffee machine etc

Caravan has a 96 litre fridge/freezer which runs off the batteries, jeep GC has a 42 litre fridge/freezer which runs from a 100 amp lithium with dc-dc charger

I would like to bring another 42 litre fridge/freezer but want to put it in the car behind the front seats as we travel with rear seats down (no kids)
As we catch fish I will fill these and have less and less room for our own food and drinks

I want to be able to run it from the caravan even when we are on the move as the battery's and solar combination are more than enough to deal with all of our power loads
How can i run it from the caravan into the car without compromising door seals so as to keep the dust out ? I do have another Anderson plug at the front of the caravan 1.5m from the tow ball

Any help will be appreciated

I know this isn't a helpful answer mate, but any reason you can't keep the second 42L in the van and just decant to and from the car fridge as necessary?

Might save you a bit of hassle, and keep some weight out of an already pretty heavy rig.

2 things…,,,

1. How much more overweight do you want to be?

2. Freezers full of fish. Really? Take what you need and no more. Filling the freezer is old school (irresponsible) mentality.

yeah I thought of that but caravan is 15ft x 7ft wide and the wife has it full on these long trips
i have the outboard under the bed on a slide drawer, along with annex and bbq ,fishing gear just cant fit it unfortunately
To be legal I can carry another 50kg so if possible I want to be able to carry it in the jeep
Other than fuel we don't carry anything inside the GC except snacks and drinks

Well other than looking like scaly bait and I'm not getting into the GCM vs ATM debate........................ If your van has an anderson on the draw bar which is direct 2 way set up from van batteries I would run and anderson from Jeep to it, run it from inside out thru the LH rear, run cable from under the false floor and under the LH pocket bin, there are 2 large holes for cables there............ On freeze they are going to demand a shit load of juice................ of course filleting the fish before chucking in the freezer is the way to go, so long as you are catching stuff that complies with the states regs or you could loose the lot, boat, Jeep , van and fish too boot........ if like QLD distance means nothing..............

yes I think your idea drover is the way to go as well, caravan outputs 40 amps so will cope with the load no problems
We usually vacuum seal the fillets , give them to family and friends , our (mature) friends appreciate fish as some cant afford it.

Use at least 8 B&S cable, 6 B&S ideal but really it can be cumbersome, I find bugga all loss with 8 B&S with my 5mt extension cable.... so long as your fridges have decent insulated covers and can breath around the motors you should be able to limit power usage....sorted out a mates set up by allowing better air flow and making some insulated covers and his fridge draw over a day dropped by 20%, it was chewing thru the power because there was no air flow in the back of his vehicle....
