Default Popped my cherry.

Just a short story of how I spent my Satdee night:
After an exhausting night shift on Friday, I decided I was going to relax on Sat night, and do nothing. Well.....about dusk I took a couple of video's back to the store. I was driving back home with the stereo pumping, when I thought I'd have a quick cruise through a dirt track not far from my place where a lot of dirt bikes play. Got there, and was happily screaming around in the soft dirt when I found this little mud depression. It was a hole about 2 metres deep, 3 metres wide, and 5 long. Very wet. Without even blinking I drove straight for it. Once the mud stopped falling from the sky, I found myself sitting still right in the middle of the hole. Doh!
Low 4WD? Nope. Just spinning. Ok, inventory, what do I have to help? I looked around the inside of my Jeep. 1 x wallet, 1 x fuel receipt, and.....um.... nothing else.
I hopped out to have a look, and sank straight to my knees. After an hour trying to dig myself out with my hands, I decided to walk home and ring a mate to help. How far? Well, it was only about 1k in a straight line, but in the way is a crocodile park, that also happens to have a few lions in it. After about another hour of walking around the outskirts of this park, suffering goose bumps the whole way listening to those damn lions, and continually looking behind me 'cause I heard footsteps, I got home and rang the mate. "Sure" he says, cackling happily. Damn Nissan owners. Anyways, we got to the turnoff, and he had to look for the 4wd lever, as he'd never taken his Patrol off-road before! A short drive and we find my Jeep. I'm sure it was smiling. Probably quite happy being covered in mud. Took about 1 minute to skull-drag it out. Oh well, lesson learnt. Next time I'll drive faster so inertia gets me through!!
Now I don't consider myself a mud virgin. I aim to be a mudstud!

LOL! Sorry Jeff but your misfortune made for a funny story!

Here's another story, long time ago. Back in High School when I had my SWB Chev Pickup we went up one of our fav places called Storm Mountain. Which is in Colorado. The summit is at around 9,600 feet above sea level. And from start to finish is about a 25 mile trip. My mate's parents basically owned the mountain so we always had it to ourselves. Anyways we were sitting around one night and decided to go for a drive. So up the mountain we went! About half way up it started snowing. An hour later it had snowed about 8 inches. When we made it to the top the snow was coming thick and fast and there was close to 12 inches of new snow on the ground. Not really a problem at the time. So when we turned around and came down we were in a full on blizzard! About 5 miles from the end and with all the new snow and strong winds I forgot about the hole we went around earlier. Plus it was drifted over with snow and impossible to see. So of course I drove right into it! The back wheels were about 2 feet off the ground and the fronts were both stuffed into the guards. We were going NOWHERE! Broke the hand winch trying to get out. So we had to walk 5 miles in knee deep snow back to my mates place. Lucky we were dressed for the weather! It was about -10 as a guess. Next morning there was about 2.5 feet of snow from the storm that night. My Truck sat in that hole for nearly 10 days before we could get up there and pull it out! It's all pretty funny in hindsight! Just lucky we didn't get caught further up the mountain!
