If I wanted an endless air I could go and buy a york for $20 from a wreckers and have the same thing.
The point is converting the stock aircon costs nothing in terms of a new compressor or new brackets for mounting etc.
If the only issues is oiling it, that can be done inline.
Then it just needs some fittings etc.
Very cheap engine driven compressor.
Anything electric is too slow.
Anything else requires lots of brackets, v-belt pulleys etc.
