Ist time we took the new Grand up to Mt Mee forest the kids in my mates Prado p#ssed themselves laughing. Everytime i was squeezing between some trees the mirrors went in & out after. I know how much those mirrors cost & am not keen to smash one. Ditto to the carpark idea.

Ok, seeing as I'm a good buddy of Bratmans, let me come to his rescue on the power mirror thing. We spend most of our forum whoring time on the US forums, and over there they don't get the power mirrors on the WJ, so it's actually quite a big deal, and hence it's listed on his page.

I, on the other hand, have automatic folding mirrors(on my ZJ) that purposefully fold around trees and spring back with a cheery twang when I get past. They are similar to my self adjusting rocker panels - although to this day they've never magically sprung back to their original shape.

I'd forgotten about the ZG. I recall hearing that some years back.

On that note, fortunately I saw a post on the US forums about someone complaining about how they hate ignorant people that call the ZJ a 'Zed Jay' - the yanks pronounce it 'Zee Jay'. This was just before I went there and rode passenger through the rubicon (will hire a Jeep next time I'm near there). Thank god for the internet
