different width

do any of you guts know the difference in width from a narrow track CJ 7 and a wide trac CJ7

yep about 3 inches i think they did it when they were having cj7 fallover do u turns

some dims off my shed wall
cj8 dana 30 wide track front over wheel mounting surfaces 56" no dim for rear
narrow track 74 cj5, with disc brakes (don't know wether they'd be different to drums)
front d30 52.75" rear d44 51"
but this doesn't with what's quoted in "Jeep the 50 Year History"
which states
72cj5 f 51.5" r 50.0" page 131
below all on page 160
81cj5 f 51.5" r 50.5"
81cj7 f 51.5" r 50.5"
82cj5 f 52.4" r 50.5" this is close to my dims (disc brakes?)
82cj7 f 55.8" r 51.0"
