Just stirring you up guys. Im converted form hilux to jeep so it must mean something? Probably because Belinda chose it though.

There is no such thing as a road registerable kit as it comes down to how it is fitted and what wheels and tyres you run. All mods over minor will have to be engineered and it comes down to the engineer. Any company would be stupid to sell a suspension set up if it wouldnt pass engineering.

I may have found another problem too! This would not have helped.

Looks like the rear locker was not working right,, air was being forced out the breather, line - I could smell diff oil when using the locker.

There was a problem with the plumbing inside, that was fixed yesterday.

Yup I understand it to be exaclty as ORI said.....each individuals modification needs to be justified on an engineering report....there is no generic "yeah it's ok".... And the onus is purely on the owners head/neck....

There is a lot more involved in getting a completely flat skid plat than people often realise. You usually need adjustable control arms all round, to relocate exhaust and muffler placement, shifter linkages, possibly reshape some of the body work under the transmission tunnel, etc. etc.
If you have a 2" BL and only want to lift the belly up 2" then all shifter linkages will go back to there standard position and there will be no need for reshaping of the transmission tunnel.

Although I aggree with you that it is stupid to sell something that can not be engineered there is many stories around of kits that have a little disclaimer of "off road use only" or "track use only" and sometimes some less than above board manufactures that dont want to help their customers to pass engineering I WAS NOT SAYING THAT ANY MANUFACTURER OR SUPPORTOR OF THIS BB WOULD DO THAT just a reminder that it is a buyer beware world and you have to get it engineered

it funny that - as the supplier does not have to mention it unless asked and that the disclaimer is on the invoice AFTER you have purchased the product.

has this whole problem with my old man complaining that ifs its unpassable its too dangerious.
