Default Busted Driveshaft in the KJ

Turns out that funny noise when the tranny was engaged turns out to be a broken driveshaft.

Waiting for new one to come in for fix.

Might be something for the KJ owners to keep an eye on.

So do you know when/how it busted or was it just bad luck?

Cheers

Just bad luck I think. Started to do it a few weeks after the last real off road trip.

Went up for an overnighter with Heather and Kyanah to the watagans one saturday arvo, hit the dirt engaged it and not long after the noise started. Threw it back into 2WD and no noise.

Lovely, another thing to add to the "watch for" list on the KJ.
