Default I like the sound of 33" X-Terrains - now with pic

Gee, how nice is the sound of 33" ProComp X-Terrains rubber on the black top while driving a head turning Wrangler?

I love it.

My TJ also behaves much better now in the corners due to the good off set on the rims and these wider tyres. She is almost like an "invincible" bulldozer that just keeps forcing her way forward, come hell or high water or a muddy track in Landcruiser Mountain Park, right?

Is this a Jeep thing or what ?

i agree, I've had x terrains for about 3 years now on 10 inch rims, and they are one of the better tyres i've seen.

BIG MACK, i am interested to hear your thoughts on how they perform offroad, i am looking to replace the MTRs as they are now 3years old and looking a bit skinny, and the XTer are one of the tyres that i am considering going too.

I, like many am looking for a tyre that has a blend of on road manners but can give me the kind traction offroad i need to play at places like CruiserPark, etc. The MTRs are good, but am looking for a change.

Keep us posted please.

Mate, the X-Terrains are an excellent off road tyre but loud on road and bit slippery on wet black top like any good muddie.

If I was you I would find it very hard to go past radial claws.
Just based on the opinion of a lot of people I trust and watching them on the trail, as I have not owned them personally.

Definitely put them on the short list anyway

cheers
